You have no reason to drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Find a friend, call a designated driver service, or phone a taxi. Â When you drive under the influence, you are risking your life and the lives of people just like you. At the time, it may seem like you can drive, but remember that your perception is distorted. You may have driven a thousand times while drunk or high, but it only takes one lapse in judgement, one wrong move and you’re dead, your friends are dead, some innocent child, a neighbor, a mom, a grandmother, just imagine all of the people you could kill…from one stupid mistake. Don’t make that mistake. Call a friend, DD, or taxi. The $10 you spend will be nothing compared to the tragedy, fines, fees, and time you’ll face after you crash or get a DUI. There is no reason to risk it. Be smart, not stupid, selfish, childish. Think ahead and save lives.
